Re: deskposting
v clean. tell us more about the sewing machine!
The sewing machine is a Singer 5825C that was passed down to me by my great aunt when she upgraded (she is a very big quilter). Its a great all purpose machine, has a couple of different stitch types, reverse, etc. I have noticed that it can struggle a bit with lots of layers of heavier material, so I'm currently in a very low key passive search for a heavier duty straight stitch machine with a walking foot to compliment it. Two machines will also mean that I can keep two different weights of thread/needles ready to go, which will allow me to make cleaner and more appropriate stitches based on what I'm sewing without having to swap out bobbins and the like.
