Re: Lift things up and put them down.

Curious for y'all's take on this I'm running a cut right now (down to 200 from 225) with plans to continue to maybe 185-190. I'm very comfortable being hungry so it's a pretty severe cut, probably eating in the range of 1200 calories a day after bulking at over 4000. My wife was worried that I was s...

Re: Random Rhetorical Hypebeast Fashion Thoughts

Said it in the comment but I agree. The clothes look good but to be benefiting from the culture and aesthetics of cultures other than your own, particularly when your own people have systemically disenfranchised and colonized the culture that you're farming, is gross to me unless it is very specific...

Re: the constant canvas: skincare!

speaking of normie level skincare, any tips on being more consistent? i'll go a month or so where I'm good and then I just forget about it

my skin is decent without upkeep which makes it easier to stop using stuff but I definitely need to at least moisturize more regularly

Re: THEORY

i guess i'm pretty old-fashioned in thinking that the text isn't reducible to the author and actually exists completely outside of the author's control or intent (i.e. texts/words/signs mean things all on their own). This hits me as being an important conflict for this conversation. Forgive me if I...

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you can take today and love yourself as much as the people in your life love you. Also I was looking for the relationships thread to post this in and I thought it was titled "All is Love" or something along those lines so I searched "love" and 123 pa...

UnwashedMolasses YoungCanoeist hey I'm in college now and somewhat heavily considering switching my major to something where I think I might actually enjoy the work (I'm in engineering right now and it seems like a drag, to say the least). I'm heavily interested in working with the environment and ...

Also found these in Nordstrom Rak, by Marc Jacobs. Are these different enough to just be inspired by BW or are they rips?

Found these in a Nordstrom Rak. It's the same sole on both shoes, they're just lug on half the shoe and ripple on the other half.

Re: News/Current Events, discussion (Bullets, Ballots & Bomb

Really. It's the end of social optimism in America. No more pretending that most people are good people who want everyone to love each other. No more pretending that the bigoted and ignorant are a minority in our country. I really believed. We're probably about to see a Republican-controlled executi...

Re: Some teen online said I'm lame for posting while drunk

I found this thread by searching for "some teen" If I'm being honest I worry that I drink too much. How much is too much? Is 3-4 liquor drinks 1-2 nights a week too much? Is that alcoholism? I drink for many reasons but one of those is as a solution to mental problems which I know is not h...

Re: Lift things up and put them down.

That's what I was trying to say with "a similar lower back exercise". Deadlifts are fun and challenging for those who like that kind of challenge but they're not the only lower back exercise by any means. I was moreso trying to emphasize not skipping lower back among the muscle groups work...

Re: Lift things up and put them down.

I would definitely recommend doing deadlifts. Or if not those, a similar lower back exercise. The most common complaint I hear from older people and often the single issue preventing them from doing physical activities or reducing their quality of life is a bad back. I often think of deadlifts as in...

Damn you @oucho

I have actual career things I should be spending money on, and then you go and make those.

Wide leg? Double pleats? Belt loops low-set just so?

If you were pushing any more of my buttons you'd be undoing them (love)

Re: disposable water bottles

Relevant aside - if you've ever got a free weekend visit your municipal water purification plant. The biology, chemistry, and mechanics involved are fascinating, and it's nice to actually look at where the water in your sink comes from.
