Re: Summer Break Stories

Realized current work is shit so I quit after four years.

Cant remember much of what actually happened the past two or so months but I remember feeling the absolute worst so I guess it hadnt been good.

Re: woof woof

My dog started having seizures late 2013. It used to be a monthly thing, but it's less frequent nowadays. We did a whole battery of tests short of a CT-scan and the vet found nothing that could cause the seizures. We did have a cyst removed from his cheek a few months ago and that seemed to help. Ve...

Re: The Lab (fit experiments, feedback and suggestions)

Button down in 1 looks too big and too short. Personally, I think the chunkiness of the air maxes paired with light wash jeans look a little too much like what an actual dad would wear so maybe try a slimmer shoe? Dont know what other pairs you have but I think something like Stan Smiths might be a ...

Re: Let's talk Japanese designers, brands, clothes

Another non-Japanese designer who had a lot of success in Japan is Christopher Nemeth, but I dont know if you can consider him obscure since Louis Vuitton paid tribute to his work in their F/W 2015 Menswear collection. His clothes feature a lot of deconstruction and using/reusing unusual materials. ...

http://i.imgur.com/8wiwuBZ.jpg Saw the new Avengers movie on iMax and remembered why I hate watching stuff in 3D. Wearing two glasses at the same time is not cool and not enjoyable. Re: ramdom fashion sportswear crepes

I think it's unfair to judge whether a piece of garment is worth its price based on how interesting or boring it looks. Lots of well-designed clothes look so basic at first glance, not to mention there are lots of factors that go into pricing. Marketing and the brand name itself make up a big chunk ...

Re: the constant canvas: skincare!

I have really oily skin too. My frames slide down my nose all the time, not because they fit improperly, but my face is just that oily. Washing it daily helps a lot since wiping doesnt remove all of that gunk (shoutout to bobbin.threadbare for this idea). I havent found the perfect solution to my fa...

Re: clothes reading

2014 was the year of shoes. Re: ramdom fashion sportswear capes

If there ever was cowboy lolita i'm pretty sure the stalwart defenders of "true" lolita would stamp it out faster than AP dresses on 50% off. I enjoy looking at lolita fashion but the community is mad and the rules regarding the style are stringent—if you don't follow them, you're ostraciz...

My friend just saw Tilda Swinton at Tokyo Fashion Week. From his photo it seems like she's wearing a lilac Haider Ackermann jacket that looks so lovely with her hair and the man himself is also with her. Experiencing rampant envy right now.
