Re: Small wallet, big ideas - the DIY thread

I made this wall clock that I had been wanting to make for quite some time. Found a supplier of the watch movement and dials last month and had a few samples sent for this prototype.

I fell in love with these boots from Yuketen, I feel like I already have enough boots but not in the aesthetic that I'm looking for: http://i.imgur.com/bOpYLe3l.png I'm also considering a pair of wallabees. What to do? Here's what I currently have: Red Wing 9016s http://i.imgur.com/rklUdjLl.jpg Red ...

Re: Long Coat Mafia [LCM]

Checking in with this demi-length Junya CDG work jacket. CDG stock clearance 70% off in Paris this weekend with pieces from the last 3-4 years of collections. http://i.imgur.com/vyTkCJyl.jpg Fell in love with this patchwork jacket, but, alas, at €470 still too pricey. http://i.imgur.com/gQNWCBw.jpg

2nd attempt at the french apple tarte fine. It's basically just apples, shortcrust pastry/puff pastry and a bit of sugar, cinnamon and lemon.

Re: Prawnzee's Saturday Kitchen [food thread]

A few years ago my sister recommended me a small bistro in Copenhagen serving french galettes (buckwheat flour pancakes) and crêpes. I also remember reading a review of the place in a paper that stated it was a small piece of Paris in Copenhagen. I had dinner there with my girlfriend and we enjoyed ...

Heey germinal , thank you so much for the order - I had no idea that was you, but I'm so glad you like it! What leather did you use for the bifold? Looks great.

Thank you (smiling) It's full-grain semi aniline finished vegtan leather from Italy. The card slots and inner are made from 2 oz leather and the outer shell is made of 4 oz.

Re: Small wallet, big ideas - the DIY thread

I have not been care-tagging as much as I'd like to, but it's been a busy few months. I was offered a spot at a small store close to where I live in Copenhagen, which I accepted and I've been putting together a collection for the display. For now it's only smaller items and accessories but hopefully...

Unfortunately the collar is really high - I don't mind a bit of excess height to them but this is bordering on gaudy I fear.

It looks fine from the front, could you expand on your thoughts on why it's too high?
