Re: Care Share 2016!!!

Huge thanks to can- for this super tight care share!! http://i.imgur.com/mob8isCl.jpg It's got: - Book of essays by William Gibson — the only thing I've read by him is Pattern Recognition , but I quite enjoyed that, so I'm very excited to read this one. - Bottle of red — I don't know anything about ...

Re: The Price Of Quitting The Game

Glad to hear you're doing well, Bela. Def agree with the lifestyle changes - no cop as a strategy is akin to saying "I need to eat less" to lose weight vs. say, going for runs in the morning, shopping at the farmers market, not eating straight out of the container, etc. Though it's also di...

Re: The Price Of Quitting The Game

Been away from the 'tags for a good minute, just been more focused on other things. I've still been buying things though. These purchases haven't really been driven by happening across things on webstores or auction sites and impulse buying them; more garms that fit a platonic ideal of something I'v...

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

Has anyone bought anything from http://www.centrecommercial.cc? Seems like there's good bargs to be had for non-EU folks, but I'm not sure what kind of duties one might incur.

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

How should Vans slip ons fit? I ordered a size 10 but it was snug, so I ordered a 10.5 and that was kinda loose, can't decide between the two. Anyone care to comment on how they break in?

Re: ramdom fashion thoughts

I ordered a bracelet from matchesfashion and it came in a big box and inside was a slightly smaller marble print box with a magnetic closure, and inside that was bunch of tissue paper and a little velvet drawstring pouch with finally the bracelet inside.

Re: forum updates/info

I'm on the site on an iPad 99% of the time, and embedded videos from Vimeo don't show up for me. Is this something that anyone else experiences, and is this fixable?

Re: Sharing is Caring // The Care Share

@yourdad So glad you like everything and that nothing got too banged up in transit. Was a bit wary about shipping internationally after some other people had mishaps, but I can see everything worked out just fine!

@CleanThug https://www.dropbox.com/s/zvxi0agnlantk6q/bottoms.pdf

This is from like 6 months ago so I don't know if the measurements are the same for this season - unless you're buying stuff from last season, in which case you'll be fine.

Re: (capital) A – R – T

Last month, Yola Monakhov, a photographer, showed some of her work in the gallery space at my school, including a few photos from this really cool project she did called "Exposed by Postal Service". For this project, she essentially turned packages into pinhole cameras and mailed them from...

Re: Films

Saw Philomena yesterday, it was really touching. Lots of "twists", but it didn't really feel gimmicky in that regard, probably because the story is mostly true. Would definitely recommend. Also, before the movie they showed the trailer for The Grand Budapest Hotel, and holy hell I cannot w...

Re: 'trainers by the truck load, trainers by the tonne'

Upon closer inspection it appears that the ones from the Adidas website have a "synthetic lining", and the more expensive ones have a "leather and canvas lining". Notice how the underside of the tongue is different: http://i.imgur.com/BA7TBhxl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TlQsmKNl.jpg
