Re: Eyewear

Thought I'd share some more frames I got. The first pair are Bausch and Lomb Ful-Vues, probably from mid-20th century. The Ful-Vue style frames are a cool piece of history for first innovating temples above the centerline of the eye, enabling an unobstructed view. They were introduced by American Op...

Re: Eyewear

Been really into these Oliver Peoples MP-2 inspired black trimmed metal frames lately http://i.imgur.com/ILR04Akl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/32tIjryl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0NH53m8l.jpg Those are by a Korean brand I recently learned of, Gentle Monster. Anyone know of other similar frames?

Re: ramdom thoughts

Even the Band of Outsiders shirt I got in S fits large on me how slim must I be?? Although I'm starting to enjoy the antifit juxtaposed with its intended shrunken proportions.

Re: The Talent Absorbs Everything - Trend Forecasting Thread

I don't really keep up with the latest so I don't know if these are already trending but I guess they're things I'd like to get more exposure of personally. high waist, light wash jeans all white sneaks clip on shades over specs substantial wire frame specs boxy patterns and silhouettes sandals with...

Re: Eyewear

No one really sells these kinds of clip-ons individually anymore, but I'd search "Bausch and Lomb clip-on" or "American Optical clip-on" on eBay, they can usually be had for about $30, and the G15 glass lenses are excellent. Just make sure the marked size (48, 50, etc) and measur...

Re: Eyewear

Eyewear is probably my unhealthiest obsession, but I thought I'd divulge my current rotation. http://i.imgur.com/EKxaNVNl.jpg Left: Swan Optical double bridge frames from the 70s or 80s, with 5-barrel rivet hinges. The interesting thing about these is that the frame is cut out of a single piece of t...
