Re: Wristwatch materials, whats your favourite?

i'd like a watch that had a case and strap made from sapphire glass and a face made of stainless steel so it was kind of inverted. Ideally you wouldn't be able to see through the stainless steel so you couldn't tell the time.

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

The English linear measure is the oldest shoe sizing system in the world. In 1324, King Edward II introduced the »size« as the standard English unit of shoe measure. One difference in size, also known as one barleycorn, measures 8.46 mm and corresponds to one-third of an inch (an inch is 2.54 cm). ...

Re: Aeroplane Food

I guess the bees are dying. All the pollinators really. Bees, wasps, butterflies, regular flies. I assume flies and wasps aren't that badly effected though. You can guarantee that if something is going extinct it's something cute and if something is currently thriving, in the final days of earth, it...

Re: Feelings

Feel like we should make a rule where you have to attempt to empathize with the feelings poster above you before you post your own feelings

Edit: you just have to do it in your mind you don't have to post about it

Re: What can you do in the centre of town except spend money

I was leaning against a wall in the center of town soaking it all in and an older woman asked me where she could get some falafel so I told her. Very rewarding experience. Recommend

Dreamt I was watching a runway show where Raf Simons was modelling his latest pair of jeans. A disembodied voice told me they were 'Alright, but will never be as good as the Petite Standards he designed for Raf Simons 1995'

Re: Photography thread

Think I'm just arguing for the sake of it now, but surely novels were pretty elitist for a good amount of time (most people were illiterate etc), same with film (very difficult to get hold of video equipment for cheap until quite recently) Theatre probably the odd one out. But maybe I can try and fo...
