Re: The Price Of Quitting The Game

teck Proper way to disconnect is to understand precisely why you buy stuff in the first place and pinpoint the issue; Different buying patterns may relate to different underlying "issues". But globally I think this is partly caused by the society we're living in. Now everybody is implicit...

Re: tote bags

Weird question indeed. Actually wanted to offer a white tote to my little cousin (boy), was wondering if it was fine or a bit girlish --> considering that at his age this is something than can matter. I could have kept it for me but I never carry anything. I don't want to put him in a situation wher...

Re: Trasparenti's Fun-Time Mystery Care Packs

So my item is not the usual one part of the "Mystery" packs so I knew exactly what I would be getting. Long story short there was one pair of pants I was looking for that I could only locate in Japan. trasparenti helped me doing the proxy. Thank you! So here it is. Form dries, blend of cot...

Re: I don't know what I want (Buyer's guide)

After checking again and again, only place I found it is Movie Gang in Japan, Okazaki.

They don't ship internationally as usual, but it seems they don't ship at all even within Japan.
@trasparenti do you know this shop?

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

I've seen tailors with old wooden measure tapes, or with stretched plastic ones... Also if you measure the thigh, thy can measure from a bit lower than you, thus having a different result. For the hem it's less likely, although if the fabric is thick for instance and you/they don't flatten the fabri...

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

I didn't have them made from scratch, I bought a pair with a fabric I liked (and for this one that fits in the waist + the fit I'm looking for in the thighs). Then I just explained precisely what I wanted for everything below the knee. I know the measurements to give to get what I expect so it's eas...

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

Thanks for the replies. For now it's just testing the waters as I prefer to gather information beforehand. My aim is not to create a brand, just create things for me and why not for some other people that might be interested. I have a lot of idea in mind but the key consistent point would be the fab...

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

Let's say I want to start the production of a few garments (I'm based in the UK, contacts in France as well)
- how can I find factories? How and where to start?
- it is dependent on many factors but what is the usual minimum "number" required to start the production line?

Re: I don't know what I want (Buyer's guide)

Yes they stock names, I doubt they select anything with coherence in mind. Anyway I find all the usual department stores pretty boring for men (harrod's, selfridges, harvey nichols, liberty). But I guess they stock what sells.

yes the shirt is navy, which goes with black pants.

Re: I don't know what I want (Buyer's guide)

Thanks!
Yes I didn't update my message but I did find what I was looking for from Peir. It is from ss16 (she has some left in the studio and the collection will be avail at HN beginning of April)

I don't think aw16 is available yet. Preorders just went live so delivery will take at least 3 months

Re: School

What would you let others affect you negatively? Don't let external events -that you can't control- have an impact on you (when it's unwanted). Stick to what you can change within your actionable circle (your priorities) and don't let the rest define you.

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

Any recommendation for training trousers? By training I mean workout + group class (both inside in a gym). So don't want tights.

Was considering the tech fleece but I guess it would be too warm.

Re: Here is ramdomthought!

Couldn't find it on the internet or contradictory answers. Where is the rfid chip on a visa debit?

Edit: @sknss I was talking about the contactless antenna, not the usual one for chip and pin payments or ATMs
