Re: Hair

I've had a shaved head for a couple years now. I don't know how important shape of head is but if you feel your head and your skull has a defined shape you're probably fine. I know everyone's skull has a defined shape but from what I remember of your pics you don't have a sphere for a head so it sho...

Re: Here is ramdomthought!

Thanks guys. I'm definitely not into just looking at pics of rooms - more so some feng shui-type philosophies or ideas.

And @smiles, I love that idea, thanks. :D

Re: Here is ramdomthought!

I'll be moving into my first place soon enough. Does anyone have any recommendations on resources for learning interior design? Not in depth or as a career, just enough to get some ideas of how to start would be great.

Re: What are you wearing, Pleasant Lolita?

PrimePrime So far I like them! Haven't been able to wear them because of snow. Don't want to step in snow/salt and have the suede ruined you know? Looking forward to spring where I can wear them more liberally. ^__^ PrimePrime Beyond & just general to the forum Quick reminder that it's much eas...

Re: All is Full of Love

I don't think I'm a particularly jealous person so these feelings are unwanted and foreign. I don't know if anybody is really a jealous person. From my experience jealousy manifests as a symptom, not a character trait. People usually become/are jealous due to something they perceive as being wrong ...

Re: random fashion thoughts

According to this article Lawrence Schlossman (of How To Talk To Girls At Parties, Complex, and Four Pins) is now working with/at Grailed. Anyone have any info on this? It's strange to see the guy who ran the first menswear blog I noticed (HTTTGAP) moving to work for an online marketplace that I was...

Re: NO LIKEY, NO LIGHTY!

the version of you that "doesn't exist" actually only exists on first dates. maybe second dates, too. Alright so I've got questions but it might get a little navel-gazey so bear with me. : ) Are the different "versions" of the self things that exist as separate identities or are...

Re: NO LIKEY, NO LIGHTY!

Wearing clothing you wouldn't otherwise wear for the sake of getting somebody to like a version of you that doesn't exist is lame in my eyes. Wear the most flattering thing you would normally wear.

(Would love to hear some counterpoint though.)

On a side note I'm actually very sad cause I've officially sized out of both EG and Needles sport coats : (((((((

Re: \\ Dungarees \\ Overalls // Coveralls //

Seems as though there's some confusion: coveralls = sleeves & full torso covered, overalls = legs + some torso + straps, no sleeves (at least in US).

@ramseames, why were coveralls a pain?

Re: Travel

Where in Miami are you going? It's going to depend heavily on the area you're in. Pollo Tropical is decent for cuban-style fast food but there's much better places if you can search. I can recommend Versailles for a little more authenticity. Lots of places have great chocolate shakes if you're into ...

Re: I don't know what I want (Buyer's guide)

MHL monkey boots are made for them by Solovair, who also offers their own monkey boots. I've been looking at them for a minute now. The only obvious visual distinctions between the two are that the MHL boots have black welt stitching as opposed to the white of the Solovairs, they come with round lac...

Re: How much do you like your PBJ?

In my experience in the US, jam = fruit preservatives while jelly = sugar + gelatin + fruit flavoring. Jelly doesn't have any bits of fruit. I'm sure it's different everywhere though. Jelly texture: http://i.imgur.com/5IUelgMl.jpg Jam texture: http://i.imgur.com/D4xOg14l.jpg

A dear friend of mine just got diagnosed with leukemia. So that's my friend, my current boss, an aunt, an uncle, a living grandpa, a dead gramps, and myself. It's hard not to fall on platitudes with this thing. "Fuck cancer". It affects so many. Everybody dies anyway, this just takes them ...

Re: How do you like your PBJ?

I've always viewed PB&J's as a challenge. Never less than a centimeter of each and often more. It's a battle between you and your lunch (never dinner), where your dexterity and endurance are pitted against the inevitability of ingredient spillage. It's a messy and fun way to eat PB&J, which ...

Re: random fashion thoughts

I've always loved sneakers and sneaker culture and design and the crazy vastness of variety and depth that can be found there, but buying sneakers doesn't make any sense with my current wardrobe outside of the Forces I already have. : (

Re: Veganarchism

Has anybody else seen 100% Food? I found it a few days ago and it's an interesting concept. Ingredients include: - Organic golden...
