At the bottom of Field Notes' latest:

09. FIELD NOTES uses only the Futura typeface family (Paul Renner, 1927) in its materials.

on that note: bottle rack at ropac paris. of course this would've been one of the most humble/utilitarian objects imaginable. Re: I don't know what I want (Buyer's guide)

For me, being too focused on what's "acceptable" or whatever is "cool" is EXTREMELY counter-productive when it comes to developing your own style-when trying to be unique. You shouldn't ever be afraid of looking or feeling foolish, don't worry about what someone on some forum is...

Re: I don't know what I want (Buyer's guide)

Also, what's up with people getting into fashion having the root desire of dressing 'better' than other people? I have so many old friends just getting into it that have that mindset and it's so strange. Other people are an easily available resource to compare yourself now to. Comparing yourself no...

Re: What are you reading today/book club

I wouldn't write off all electronic reading just yet, but reading PDFs on the computer is quite possibly the least pleasant way to read anything. You can't adjust the text size easily and it's almost always dark text on an eyeball-bleachingly white background. Anyone know of any passably decent ePub...

going back to bela's earlier point, how to portray cyber-activity is a real problem for film makers. It's difficult, but I think we could do better. Theoretically we could have CGI-assisted explanations for computer shenanigans à la How the Heartbleed Bug Works just like House had CGI-assisted expl...

The fridge is naked. You can have clothed/clothed fit battles, or naked/naked something battles, but not clothed/naked battles. Put some clothes on the fridge or have the man pose nude and repost.
