Re: PRACTICE of fitpics
after taking this pic I realized I prefer my bandannas about 0.5-1" thinner than I'm wearing it here which made me feel very silly but also very satisfied
Re: PRACTICE of fitpics
ankle is feeling good enough to kickflip again! managed to get out and do a couple before it started pouring. :^) (pants are embroidered, see DIY thread for more details)

Re: PRACTICE of fitpics
Minneapolis is a conservative city, clothing wise. It has been a bit disheartening bc the only people who wear out-there clothes are wealthy old 'funky' npr ladies with like, red framed glasses. No shade but I am not associated with that crowd. Broke out my fave pistachio suit today and was happy that a guy yelled "Did you know that's my favorite color?? HA!" across the street to me. Usually I get told I'm "brave" for wearing fuggin' clothes (my least favorite backhanded compliment ever) so hearing someone genuinely ~vibe~ was a nice moment.
Also, given everything going on in MN right now, the least of my concerns are what the fuq people think about my gear. Fuq that and fuck 12

living in the midwest is sick precisely because you know you are the best dressed person in the state (and also very not sick because of how our police behave)foxtail_grass wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 11:23 pm [fit pic]

Re: PRACTICE of fitpics
the fact that you defend the sanctity of the 'original' fit pic is very telling....
its fine i dont expect everyone to understand.
there is a long tradition throughout history of the attempt by conservatives to suppress radical new ways of seeing and thinking.
