I'm familiar with the basic outdoor brands (patagonia, la sportiva, prana, bla bla) but i'd like something a bit less practical looking. thus far i've primarily worked in cold wet climates so my old stuff doesn't really apply.
I'm going to expand on some stuff that I've learned from working in the heat. I mainly do maintenance things so I don't know exactly what work you'll be doing but this might be helpful. DO NOT
buy a pair of denim for this. I work in jeans in the sun every summer and it's one of the worst things. Sure they're tough but they breathe terribly and are terrible when wet or sweaty. Once again but if you'll be spending a lot of time outside try to find something as light and breathable as possible. You said conservative but I would consider sleeves anyways and consider getting an under armor for hot weather. Some of my coworkers love them. Probably something with a brim all around, nothing worse than a burnt ass head and neck. I have no idea on brands but in terms of pure practicality this is what I know.
