Over the summer break, I really got into Lad, but its been hard finding info, so hoping people here can answer a couple questions I have.
1. Does the Lad online shop do restocks?
2. Do the Big T-shirts ever come in 42? Looking at the measurements for a 44, its hard to tell if it would just be too big for me.
3. How do the skinny jeans fit in relation to the tight tapered pants?

@station :

1. yes they do restocks on certain items, usually the items that sell-out really quickly.
2. some do, but this season most of them are just one size sadly. for me it's a tad too big, but my frame is tiny.
3. actually bought the a/w'15 skinny pants, they are SKINNY. definitely more close-fitting than the tapered tight versions.

i'm curious in the denim version though, since i bought the trousers. will kop in the future.
i've also done a whole lot of purchases over this summer, and once i have time i'll update this thread.

been dead for awhile, and have quite a good bit to write about in terms of the new season etc...
in the meantime, another addition to lad "inspirations" is through WEAR.JP.
that link will bring you to posts tagged with lad pieces people are wearing with some fits.
some really really great stuff in there.
one of my top favorites that i've seen ever (link brings you to this look):

still don't know how to clean my flannel, haven't worn it in ages before today anyways but still

like 70% certain this thing would disintegrate if i put it in the wash

luckily rayon doesn't seem to hold much smell (mine just smells like the incense that i light in my room) but it's still weird/gross thinking that this shirt's probably never been washed because of the absurd care-tag instructions

Wikipedia says that "Recommended care for regular viscose rayon is dry-cleaning only."

(i washed my flannel in delicate and it totally turned out fine. no dryer, hang dried).

i'm poking through again to say that lad's new collection looks NUTS.
yuichi kuroda is really expanding on the whole elongated silhouettes in really interesting ways.
the flintstone for this collection is sex pistols. a subject that tends to be played out, but i feel like lad hit it at a really different angle.

link here for the collection images: LAD MUSICIAN A/W 2016-17.

@hamburgerlady Which of the Lad flagship stores is the best to visit? Or are they about the same. I'm going to Tokyo in early October and wanna check out some Lad when I'm there.

from what i experienced, all of the shops are pretty similar (shinjuku, omotesando/harajuku, shibuya, daikanyama).
the main difference is stock, in which each store has different things from each other from the season.
out of all the stores though, the harajuku/omotesando store was the coolest (imo) and most visited i think!
it's the most spacious out of the rest of them, and there's so many other great shops just nearby.

the 2nd choice would probably be daikanyama, it's their "main" flagship and also pretty big (and underground).
