Muji Labo discounts at 50% are pretty insane.

The only things I looked at was a lined parka which was 149 (reduced from 299) and a boat neck jersey which was around 49 and I think it was around 60 before. Don't think they're all 50% off but still deep discount compared to what it was before.

Nice to meet you too!

bobbyzamora, it's not completely unstructured- there's no actual padding in the shoulder but there might be a single layer of canvas just to give the heavier fabric some shape. i think this has been the case with the two or three MH mainline blazers i've owned. overall i think the feel is relaxed enough to work casually

If I lived in the UK I would cop those Primark white shoes, with no shame at all.

This year Jigsaw, Reiss, Muji Labo (s/s) and Cos all had side adjuster trousers.

And I failed to buy any of them.

i don't understand the fuss about side adjusters. my one bespoke savile row suit has them, they're a nice touch, but really what's so hard about using a belt?

why would you get a detail you don't like on something bespoke tho?

I just like how it looks. Though it's almost more about the lack of belt loops than it is about the side adjuster. I saw a schneider trouser that had the belt loops way out round the side and thought that looked pretty cool. Drawstrings are pretty cool. I just hate having belt loops if I'm not going to wear a belt. It's a tiny not that important detail but hey, that's what we're in this game for right? Irrelevant details that no one else cares about but make us feel our lives are heading in the right direction.

Also I don't own a black belt. (No karate)

If anyone happens to be around spitalfields Jigsaw and snags this blazer in Chambray in a 36 I could make it worth your while.

dear mr @rublev

though gap outlet is a legendary place shrouded in secrecy and protected by ancient spells from a time before online shopping, one thing is known for certain: all product sold at gap OUTLET is made specifically for gap OUTLET; that is, no overstock from gap RETAIL stores is sold at gap OUTLET stores. rumor has it that in the early years of OUTLET they only sold overstock, but they quickly became too popular and gap inc had to start producing stuff for outlet.

in general, gap OUTLET quality is not as good as gap RETAIL quality. this is especially noticeable in sweaters/sweatshirts, the ribbing on OUTLET pieces is usually extremely flimsy, but the advantage is price, though gap RETAIL had lots of sales, gap OUTLET has even better. usually everything (or near everything) in a store is some percent off and usually on the weekends there are usually email coupons that give an extra 15-40 percent off. Never ever ever ever ever buy anything if it's not at least 40 percent off to begin with (exception maybe being outerwear which doesn't get past 30 percent very often). Sales change once every one or two weeks so if you want something and it's not on sale just go back in a week and it may jump to 50 percent off (happens all the time). Always check clearance sections, usually have lots of good pants (just bought two pairs of cords for $5.50 each :sweg: ) and there are 30 percent off clearance sales all the time.

also everyone should own a gap logo hoodie and they are cheap at outlet all the time

okay that was a lot to write about gap outlet but you can tell that i have strong feelings for it so i don't care

How does anyone make money on 5$ cords? Were they so bad that they just had to cut their losses? Does this mean that tom has bad taste?

They were 5 dollars so that they would be bought so that the store would have more room to stock newer, more profitable product, I assume since they were on clearance.
