This is a great thread, thought I would contribute.

A few years ago I started buying clothes by Jan-Jan Van Essche (there's a thread for him here but it's a bit empty, sadly). These days it's probably about 90% of what I wear and I'm slowly getting rid of most of the rest of my wardrobe. All his clothes have a very vague concept of sizing, so I don't even have to look at measurements any more. I just get medium in everything and assume that however absurdly voluminous that ends up being is probably what he had in mind. The fabrics are always amazing, and the clothes are always comfortable and simple, while having super cool construction details with minimal pattern pieces. I'm pretty content.

I don't have anywhere in my flat large enough to take a photo of them all (and my terrible phone camera would make the exercise pointless anyway), so in honour of the forum here's some tags instead:

Image

Sadly missing because I bought it second hand: 1 x collection#3 (SS13)
6 x project#2 (AW14)
9 x collection#5 (SS15)
10 x project#3 (AW15)
8 x collection#6 (SS16)

EDIT
@BIGBEE: Maybe. You won't be able to see shit though.
@Bonobonobo: I'm slightly hampered by my truly dire camera options but I would like to. I'll try and put some stuff on the JJVE thread, as this one seems to be more about collections as a whole.

Maharishi collection. Could do with more tops / outerwear maybe. The cool part is almost all of it is second hand and cost sweet fuck all.

It's a lazy Sunday so I decided I would document some of the stuff I've got hanging in my closet. Mainly my pride, my BDU jackets. As well as most of my graphic tee's, the graphic tee's are going to be split up into spoilers since I couldn't think of a good way to photograph them all and show the graphics.

Jackets

Counter clockwise.
Stan Ray BDU in olive with the 350ppm patch on the arm.
WTAPS "Media Blitz" Jungle Jacket in navy.
WTAPS x Bape Jungle Jacket(an M65 from this collab was in the latest Grailed 100 which was cool).
    Neighborhood Zebra Camo BDU Jacket.

Graphic Tee's

i feel sort of contented with my current shoe rotation so i figured i'd take some horribly-lit photos of them
Image
beaters/streetwear staples
Spoiler:
Image
adidas campus, old skools, sk8-his

AF1s/AF1 variants
Spoiler:
Image
reg beater AF1s, acronym x nike downtowns, AF1 LV8s (would've used flash to show the 3m side panelling but it would've just made the lighting worse), acronym x nike LF1s

weird 90s nikes/boots
Spoiler:
Image
nike air carnivores, nike air more uptempos, timbs

i feel somewhat contented with this collection in that i'm not at all averse to adding new shoes to it, but as it stands i feel it reflects my style in a solid way – pretty much just slightly tech-y urban streetwear. i already have a lot of AF1s but i'll probably get even more, partially because i live in NY and it just sort of makes sense to wear forces here, but mostly because AF1s are the greatest sneaker of all time

i said in the sneaker thread that i was doing sneaker nocop but i guess that's not entirely true – it's more like i have enough shoes that now i can both prioritize buying pants/tops/outerwear (of which i have so few options currently), as well as really question or scrutinize what new shoes would add to my rotation and what sort of aesthetic niche they'd fill within my shoes and wardrobe. i'm super picky about what clothes i want to buy but i'm not as picky with shoes, so at this point i basically buy whatever shoes i want and base the rest of my wardrobe around clothes that work well stylistically with them. so really it's not a cop freeze on shoes so much as it's a more critical assessment of what shoes would best add to my wardrobe as a whole.

shoes i'm considering adding in the near future:
black combats or other aggro boots (rick/julius/visvim maybe?)
eg vans slipons
70s cons (maybe replace the sk8 his with them once the vans get trashed)
black cement 3s if i luck out and get them for retail in 2018 (wishful thinking)
the AM uptempo 2s i posted in the sneaker thread

i always love getting other people's feedback and opinions so lmk if any of these additions make more sense to you than others given my current rotation or if there's any other shoes you think i should consider

Small Our Legacy collection, really have gotten a lot of wear out of the outwear mostly purchased secondhand. Would really like to pick up some trousers and possibly sneakers when money isn't as tight. Probably some more shirting too.

To be completely honest, the entire Island Journey lookbook. I started by tracking down pink/green Time jackets and by the time I had 'them I had learned too much about Bobbin & Katie not to love everything they do. RN I'm on a bit of a hold until I can find either an & coat, a yellow or orange time jacket, or some more 0 jeans.
