Brooks Bros made the best OCBD for the longest time in terms of price/quality ratio. Great fabric, legendary collar, MiUSA, multitude of fits - I prefer a slightly relaxed fit, not the slim fit that people love Uniqlo/JCrew/GBV for. (If we're comparing, all three have lousy collars, and the GBV cut is weird as hell.) You could buy three or four at a time for ~$50 a pop during their quarterly sales. Good staple shirt

Then they killed it off

I got a couple of Kamakura shirts earlier this year, and they're nice. Well-made, good collar, etc. but if i'm being honest, they don't fill the void left behind by BB

Spoiler:
after writing this, I checked the BB web shop and they're actually still available, but the colors and sizes are limited, so idk what's up??

this one. "all cotton", aka must-iron

I like the Regent fit (formerly, "slim"; milano was "extra slim")

It's a dress shirt, so the length is sized for tucking (same w/ Kamakura). I get them hemmed

to ~mid-fly (subjective, depending on pants, of course), after washing to reduce post-hem shrinkage. I have a disproportionately short torso, so I can't really give a usable measurement
