@exprof ah yeah I see what you're talking about—fingers crossed that it's due to white being under white and that nude underwear will do the trick. exposed bike shorts might be an interesting look actually...

Found one of these in a vintage shop down the road for £400. Is that a good price considering I won't be able to wear it until winter? I don't really know anything about Rick Owens.

Bombers are at such peak saturation is it really worth buying a rkwns one? They'll start looking weird once the trend dies down.

@stappard_, Storm In A Teacup in Haggerston. They've got a bunch of Raf Simons, Jean Paul Gaultier, Comme des Garcons, Vivienne Westwood, etc. It's probably my favourite.

Thinking about copping this OL??????????

Lightweight / unlined, slightly boxy cut etc.

Got this a couple of days ago and i'm into it. Think i'll keep it. Got it with more than 50% off due to the corner sale plus the discount code.

It's really lightweight with a packable hood. Potentially high on the crinkle count.

Fabric is really cool. Apparently each jacket is slightly different as the prints were done with separate water colours.

Thanks! Corner discount code is no longer valid now :( was only for a week or something. It was ' PRIVATESALE' but it won't work anymore. Best thing to do is sign up to their mailing list as there will be another code over summer at some point.

Formal-wear shirts are traditionally made in a lightweight voile to provide some measure of breathability to the wearer (as one is assumed to be keeping the jacket on all night and dancing). Next best thing would be a luxurious broadcloth/poplin cloth. I vote to avoid twills, pinpoints, etc as the textures of the shirt render them much less elegant for a black-tie event. Oddly their poplin dinner shirt has a very prominent texture that I'd avoid.

Of the white, slim-fit, double-cuffed poplin shirts I'd suggest this one over the others simply because the collar looks really elegant in the photos. I like the way it doesn't sit stiff but the tips gently fold out as it reaches the body. Cutaway maybe too aggressive though, tough to tell.

Been really itching for some taps BDUs

Saw these shorts which I would essentially be wearing in the same way. They're fairly cheap and would prob look pretty cool sagged. Not sure if they're too much like mainstream cargo shorts though, hmm.

these are also in my size too but I'm not sure if I'm fully on board with that particular camo.

Already posted in the designated thread but if you see any wtaps BDUs in M let a brother know

Wallabee Runs in black, love the look of wallabees from birds-eye but I can't get into chunky soles.

Image

Custom noragi in slubby denim.

Image

COS Collarless Hemp Tunic (sold out in my US size right as I saw it go up in the webstore... Hoping for restock soon)

Image

Oni 512xx (hopefully last pair of jawnz I get for the next year... Hoping.)

That's the rest of my Summer cop list (preparing for winter), grabbing some new black van slip ons or some all black converse that I'll beat up at work.

@calc though I agree, I'm totally not sure why, wish clarks originals would release a sole between the run and the wallabee, the english moc upper silhouette is done so right on the wallabee.

@jewturk what do you intend on wearing black wallabee runs with? I could see full soled wallabee lows working with skinny black jeans really nicely.

My JB0716s, so yes, skinny black jeans.

I'm waiting on a cos restock for a bit for the tunic in my size, otherwise I have a few people from here that said they'd proxi the cos hemp tunic from the UK for me. The noragi should be finished in July and I'll definitely have pictures up.

I'm thinking about f/w wear, and the idea of gray wool trousers stuck to me.
I like the texture of wool trousers, but sub-$100 wool is probably not going to be as soft and warm as I'd want without long johns or the like, so I was looking for some high or middle-high rise gray chambray trousers.
I've also really wanted some high-rise pants to wear with tucked shirts, and I'm increasingly comfortable with pleats lately.

Can I get some opinions on if these J. Crew "Japanese Chambray" pants in "bowery slim" cut would look nice with a casual shirt and light jacket in a casual context? To me, the pleats and rise are as inoffensive as they come and the texture is really where I'd want it. I would likely wear these with penny loafers, maybe with white sneakers if I feel like making a power play? I'm not a real fan of sneakers with trousers.
Image

I'm also going to be on the lookout for some hunter green twill pants in a mid-rise, since the pair I really like on Mr. Porter are sold out in my size. If you're a 28x32, get these! (smiling)
