Nice and pretty affordable unisex option by Old Town

Jacket and trousers combination which has the appearance of a primitive coverall but without the attendant problems of an all-in-one.

Jacket and trousers sold separately and each part works well independently. Please feel free to ask about sizing.

Can be done up in a bunch of colours too.

Really like that old town stuff- although I haven't bought anything yet. Can't help but prefer vintage offerings. Can't stop ourselves :

Same coveralls as last time but I got this neat parka from goodwill that I think looks cool with it. Like east German military vet who's now a mechanic. Image

Old Town Overalls are now avails in MERINO WOOL:

Image
http://oldtownnews.tumblr.com/post/1300 ... -very-cosy

combine them with 5 merino wool tshirts and quit both the fashion game AND the laundry game???

tbh Old Town overalls seem the best option out there. All other overalls actually look like a huge pain to wear/size.

been looking for a good pair of overalls for a while now; only prerequisite is the presence of belt hoops so that i have the option of wearing folded down. >_>
would have instacopped these but a bit steep for me (coming up to 40k yen if i recall correctly)

and they sold out pretty quick anyway >_>

another color available but still that same prohibitive pricepoint and rather extreme print
(doesn't mean i'm not thinking long and hard about it tho)

RE: everyone who thinks coveralls are a pain in the ass.

They're the easiest thing in the world. When I had to do an office based job I'd wear them like, 3 times a week because it was literally:

1. Put on pants and socks.

2. Put on coveralls.

3. Put on shoes.

4. Leave house.

I could stay in bed way longer because I didn't even need to worry about working out what top to wear with whatever trousers. I started to get really jealous of girls who can just chuck on a dress.

On super lazy days I wore slip ons too.

Seems as though there's some confusion: coveralls = sleeves & full torso covered, overalls = legs + some torso + straps, no sleeves (at least in US).

@ramseames, why were coveralls a pain?

Jan-Jan Van Essche has got some dungarees coming up next collection in a couple of different fabrics. These are the paper (washi I assume) + cotton ones.

Also done a few jumpsuits already

Bonus: But what if you get a bit hot?

Just tie the top half round yr waist. Genius. Though you should probably ditch the cardigan as well if overheating is a concern.
