What's post-skate music(bonus points for not being from the UK)?

Nightclub on a Friday
Get my Gucci on
F-f-f-firestarter
Yes, I'm in the zone
You coming on me like a player (WOOF!)
But your game's all wrong
You get your words all twisted
It's the same old song

"The twenty-first century post-skater became a personage, a past, a case history, and a childhood, in addition to being an anatomy and possibly a mysterious physiology. Nothing that went into his total composition was unaffected by his post-skating. It was everywhere present in him: written immodestly on his face and body because it always gave himself away. We must not forget that that the psychological, psychiatric, subcultural category of post-skating was constituted from the moment it was characterised – can’s famous comment of 2015 can stand as its date of birth. Post-skating appeared as one of the forms of skating when it was transposed from searching for the best gear onto a kind of interior dopeness, an authenticity of the soul. The skater was a temporary aberration; the post-skater was now a species."

From Michel Foucault’s The History of Skateboarding Volume 1: The Wheel to Knowledge (p.43)

Where do we go now that Post Skate is confirmed dead?

In collab with vgtbls trend forecasting post (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=428&p=69968#p69922) might I suggest Post Cricket? Wear a tan long coat, v neck cricket jumper, crew neck band tshirt underneath, flared cords and Dunlop Green Flash trainers.

Just a thought.

When Post Skatoids aren't reliving the Glory Days with the Yeah Right! soundtrack in their walkman or polishing their Keith Haring Alien Workshop deck series on the wall, are they attending Fancy Lad premieres in black on black chucks or... blucher mocs?

Russian fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy will launch his debut fragrance in collaboration with Comme des Garçons...The unisex fragrance was developed by perfumer Alexis Dadier and includes "accents of tar and rubber to connote skateboard wheels heating up on the pavement".

Now you can smell like u skate (without actually skating)

Not after a skate injury left me concussed, knocked out and in hospital, was quite an extreme manoeuvre called "not paying attention and hitting a rock"

Decided to retire at the peak of my career, might make a nostalgia return when my fans are older and have more disposable income so I can milk them.

Post-skate (aka hesh) is dead and Jarvis status now

Most ppl have fallen into these aesthetic camps:

*older 30 yr old trying to “get back into it” most likely skates a 7.75 plan b or blind deck
*Thrifting god probably wears pants 4 sizes too large
*probably has lv or gucci grip, their instagram is probably full of lightwork edits w/ soundcloud rap and “wet” tres, probably watches too many versace plug clips. They dress accordingly w/ track pants, camo bdus, or carpenter pants
*stuck in 2014 still tucks their polo into their dickies 874s w their polo dad cap probably a rich white boy from surburbia
*weckingball

lol i actually have this frag...bought it blind (what is the nose version of "sight unseen"? ) for mad cheap and i like it a lot

if it was any stronger it would be nauseating i think but it's really nice. lasts all day on my skin and it's got a pleasant mandarin scent covering the ugliness of the tar/rubber
