They could never make products a month ahead. Most are looking at 2 seasons ahead and @heckawheel is right. There are other things at play too like good old research and inspo trips too.

From articles I've read like http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/oper ... ckly_.html and http://www.forbes.com/sites/gregpetro/2 ... rt-2-of-3/, it seems like that is actually not the casethrough-out the fast-fashion world. Some have a much faster turnover than two seasons.

However I think Zara is in a league of it's own when it comes to response times, but I can't imagine that H&M can be too far behind, but in regards to the smaller high-street brands two seasons sounds right.

I remember hearing a few times that Zara can go from nothing to a product on shelves within like 3 weeks or something

Edit: 2 weeks actually

Presumably its that speed that leads to oversights such as the regrettable striped pajamas

Has anyone bought anything from http://www.centrecommercial.cc? Seems like there's good bargs to be had for non-EU folks, but I'm not sure what kind of duties one might incur.

you will 100% get butt fucked by duties

best bet is to hope and pray that haven gets another CE shipment or keep stalking US retailers like Bodega.

Did I mis-size this sweatshirt? Feel like I could/should go down a size, but most people I've seen wear this pretty loose.

can anyone shed some light on Beams/Beams+ and Journal Standard? like, what kind of brands are they and why is there so much seemingly cool stuff from both of them available on the secondhand market?

for anyone that's ever handled/owned eytys, what is the sizing like?
more specifically, if I am a 9 in all shoes (vans for instance) and 41 in CPs, what should i take in an eytys' trainer?
(they say 42 is true to 9 on tres bien, i just want to make sure)

been relentlessly trying to find a similar boot to these virgils
Image
for so long. any secret workwear brands I don't know about that have put out a plain toe suede boot with a vibram sole? I'm not actually unopposed to resoling them vibram, I just need to keep the whole shoe under $350 or i'd just buy the damn virgils to begin with.

any suggestions welcome, need a suede workboot for the fall.

Was also wondering, anyone have experience with leather Eytys? Worth the price compared to other similar alternatives? Or would you stick with their canvas? Going to replace my Supergas when those are finished.

Etsys in general are all kinda exorbitantly priced but if you want that look then you'll be happy with them. The suede feels nice, dunno how the leather ones are

honestly b/c it helps my self esteem if i think i look cool.

anyways, question: how do TAPS buds size (specifically these ones)? is it possible for people over 5'9 to wear them without having a 40inch waste?

seeing conflicting measurements

another question: is it possible for tall people to wear japanese bottoms in general? methinks no.
