I can only really think of 3-4 things i want total (even if theyre kinda expensive), feels pretty good

Anyone have a sweatshirt made by Steve & Barry? I recently thrifted one because it was the softest, warmest, most comfortable sweat i've handled. Comparable to a Gap/H&M sweatshirt, this one is about as comfortable as Dana Lee's Cashmere sweat!.
I'm a small, but got this one in Medium and i love it mainly because of the tight(er) ribbed cuffs that stay on my wrist rather than slide over my hands like a oversizes hanes sweat. (if anyone has one in black size m or s and doesnt want it, pm please!!)

so i've been doing some reading into hussein chalayan who, for being a 'legend of womenswear' (source: some dude on facebook) i know remarkably little about. definitely recommend it for those who are more focused on menswear

but I came across these gifs on an unrelated thread and was struck by them.

I think all of us experience the "come full circle" step in fashion (ie switching from jeans and tee to biz caz, to americana to something ninja, back to jeans and an expensive t-shirt), but I think I just experienced my funniest version of this so far.

In high school I browsed novelty t-shirt sites for hours, looking for the perfect discounted 10$ t-shirt with the perfect video game reference (woot, thinkgeek, etc etc). And now here I am, browsing rakuten looking at undercover tees, pretty much doing the same thing.

got my Needles corduroy jacket from rak yesterday and it's a few inches wide in the body and 3-4 inches long in the arms, is it worth getting tailored or should I just sell it? it's a pretty thick/heavy-duty material so would that affect how well the tailoring might turn out?

Spoiler:
"Hahaha," I chuckled to myself as I wiped excess olive oil from the bottle's neck with a paper towel, "I wonder whether this stuff would stain my Acronym pants."

I screwed the cap back onto my balsamic--could Modena's finest really be as cheap as $3.99?--taking care not to risk a spill of either liquid despite my curiosity. I already knew the answer. Of course they would stain. Faux symbols of sophistication (bright-labeled Shiraz; embarrassment following a confident malaprop) always do.

The smug blankness of my faulty javascript taunted me, and I took my open-faced computer in my left palm, the plate of salad already balanced in my right. In ten brief steps from the kitchen to the table, I committed a fatal mistake of thought, my mental energy tipping dangerously away from the salad and towards the computer like a plane suddenly missing one wing.

I knew I should have bought a 3rd Arm. Even my extra zip pockets and articulated knees couldn't provide the necessary multitasking power.

"Fuuu-" I tore my eyes from my crotch, newly spattered in dressing (fuck your innuendo jokes, just keep reading), and beseeched William Gibson for a reversal of time, for some new technology that might save my over-expensive baggy pants. If only I had picked the black pair instead of khaki, like Cayce would have done, I might have made it through unscathed...

Droplets of liquid beaded menacingly on the EPIC cotton like secretions of a poison arrow frog. Wet baby spinach lay scattered around my feet, like fall leaves after a rain. Both veggie burgers were about to tip off the plate. My javascript still didn't work.

I calmed myself, knowing that there would be zero history without the blemishes of failure marking the way to success. I swiftly crawled to the kitchen to retrieve a PT-S1 unit (Bounty brand) and wiped it on my pants. Miraculously the oil and vinegar both faded away. My subconscious had tested me, my curiosity as strong as if I were waiting for a new film clip to be released. I had needed to know the answer to the staining question. And although I'm growing more and more confident in my pattern recognition, and I'm thankful that my pants are basically untouched, I'm not sure whether I'd dare to do this again.

Possibly from Middle French caper (“to capture”), from Latin capere (“to seize, to grasp”); or possibly from Dutch kapen (“to steal”), from West Frisian kāpia (“to take away”), from Old Frisian kapia, to buy.

From dictionary.com:

verb (used with object), copped, copping. Informal.
1.
to catch; nab.
2.
to steal; filch.
3.
to buy (narcotics).

1695-1705; compare cap (obsolete) to arrest, Scots cap to seize ≪ dialectal Old French caper to take, ultimately < Latin capere

LOL

kop
The BCO term for "cop." Used primarily in the Men's Fashion threads, though sometimes the ladies aux uses it in the rare event one of them decides to not be such a cheap hoe and purchases something nice
Mike Nouveau: Kopped some Augustas
Mike Tyson: Nice! Can't wait to kop these puppies (posts a photo of pants followed by a 3000 word essay.)

to get, recieve, purchase, steal, or have
Yo im about to cop a drink, want one?

Unrelated:

Jawnz
High-fashion, well made, quality denim jeans.
Ayo SF, check out these new jawnz I copped on gilt group. Theyre so stiff they stand in the corner!

My problem will always be slim vs. comfy

Edit: @stappard_: not comfy as in: "I feel comfortable wearing this." More like: "I could do gymnastics in this."

Maybe I should only wear spandex.

Slim sweats, slim moleskin, etc. Just get stuff with fluffy and otherwise soft and lovable interiors. Also Jodhpur pants yo, or slight drop crotch. It's got that comfy upper bit and hugs where you get a nice silhouette that gives you an overall slim look.

Also gussets. Gusset everything.

I think whatever you're used to wearing is what's comfy. I worked in an American summer camp for a few months a few years ago and by the end whenever I put trousers on they felt super uncomfortable because I was wearing shorts all the time. Not so long ago I started wearing trousers rather than jeans and at first I found it really uncomfortable and restrictive, now I feel underdressed if I go to work things in jeans and I'm totally comfortable in trousers. As for doing gymnastics why don't you just have a separate gym kit for that, there's no reason to do them in your suit.

The eBay market for used Uniqlo Undercover is almost completely menswear. None of the womens collection ever seems to show up.
