aw you should grow it out/keep it round here

Only getting a trim to even it out before school starts, growing it out to chin length. So only about half an inch (uncurled) to go.

It's been officially a year since my last buzz cut, I remember getting one at the start of the school year because my Junior year ID picture has the fresh cut. I'd gotten occasional trims that first semester but the top area of my head hasn't been touched.

Going for this:

Those hair salon clips are golden, love the look to be honest. I was going to go for something similar to San Cisco as of late, short on the sides, left the top growing:

But I kind of want to be able to do a little Wayne/Mac Demarco with hats and even do a Lebowski kind of thing, so I'm keeping the sides long and will probably need 5-6 more months of growth to get it.

Currently:

Usually just tie up the top of my hair as its longer when I'm doing homework/studying/working out so it doesn't get in my face.

I've been no poo for around 9 months, shampood for the first time today. Hair feels gross.

But anyway, i'm going to get a haircut next week in prep for going back to uni - half of me wants to go back to having my sides shaved, but i'm starting to enjoy how my hair is getting longer. May just trim the sides down, but I don't think i'd suit long hair

Here's how it was a few weeks ago

wish i could get it like this everyday tho

Always get my hair styled at the salon after a cut. Of course I don't style it like this myself, but for 30 minutes each time I can crank up my weeaboo levels to maximum.

ever have those days when you just want to shave your head? well i do all the time and it finally got to me

Image

no crazy head lumps or anything luckily, but i don't think i'm really cool enough to pull off the look

the most noticeable difference from my pov is the sound my t-shirts make when i pull them over my head

much louder now, but, in a soft way

Toyed with the idea of a buzz but I'm glad I've let it grow and am continuing to do so. Maybe sometime I'll go short again but for now I like what I have.

This is my hair atm. Not sure if I want to do anything with it but I'm starting to grow tired of the undercut. Any suggestions?

@blastoise With no product it's soft and fluffy and falls flat to the side of my head. No poo has worked better than I could have asked!

Favorite shampoo brands? I need to buy some more soon... +1 if I can get it off Amazon. Sadly Shiseido Super Mild isn't strong enough for me; the humidity affects my hair more when I used it. Currently using Aussie which is nice, though I like using a different brand each time I finish the bottle.
