They're just some old navy jeans that I bleached, took like 45 mins.

3-year-old J Brands needed a new button & my tailor gave them a high-fashion upgrade.

Full shots of front/back/fly area.

Also a pair of Lucky Brand boots I've had for a couple years, aging surprisingly well for a cheap pair of shoes.

Spoiler:
Got them cleaned for the first time ever.

Wish I'd taken better shots before they went to the cobbler because I kind of miss the greyish color they'd developed, but I'm sure they'll be back to that in a few months.

This is why you don't mow the lawn while wearing suede shoes.

I've always loved the JB pocket bags design and their super thick canvas so I think it's awesome that first rips on my JBs are showing 'them off. @8months

@rbjman Actually they have one iny tiny tear at the right inner heel. Though I haven't had them for that long so I guess they're kinda lame atm compared to some other stuff. Image

Bedford buttons are removable, but held in by little circular rings. I lost one.
Sometimes you need to improvise

I've always wondered what Drips look like once they've seen some wear. Anyone have a picture?

They don't really "age" as far as I've ever seen. The drips themselves wear down after a few uses, though (you can see these images on BST threads).

Image is the best I can think of. As far as I remember, the laces break, and the latex wears down. Supposedly there's some aging in general as a few people are opposed to wearing black leather CPP pieces since you can't see the details all to well, or something.

Gave a local denim company some old jeans and told them to go wild, REALLY impressed with the results:

Got a pair of Clark's for crazy cheap bc apparently the dye didn't take to the leather. Fine by me, I love how they look.
(pardon the power stance)

For context, this is another pair that hasn't been tried on.

Kinda fitting that the leather upper wears at the same pace as the crepe soles.

There's actually quite a bit of ripping where the midsole is separating which is starting to worry me a bit but no too much. I've already had to do some minor repairs in the form of shoe goo on the bottom because I dragged my feet too much. I should mention that I plan on wearing these until they completely disintegrate or I die, whichever comes first.

some real carnage on these shoes. almost unwearable. very uncomfortable on my feet and if there is even a drop of water on the ground my whole sock will be soaked. love the convenience though, lol.
