Trickers burgundy cordovan brogues in 9.5. Starting bid £350.

I have a feeling that the sizing on the burtons may be slightly large so could possibly fit a size 10. Such nice shoes though.

@mc-lunar sometimes I wonder why Visvim bothers with making such boring (IMO) and uninspired (IMO) clothing. Convince me otherwise?

not every piece of clothing has to change the world imo. sometimes it's about contributing to the collection's aesthetic as a whole, sometimes it's about suggesting a "lifestyle", sometimes it's just because the designer happens to particularly like a certain garment. it's a different story if the entire season is a snooze, but visvim (at least past seasons) has offered as many "interesting" pieces as they have "quiet" pieces. these "quiet" pieces are generally better suited for complementing other garments/the outfit as a whole, rather than standing out on their own. whether it be a 30k sheepskin coat or a denim shirt, it has it's place in the brand's aesthetic.

check out visvim lookbooks to get a feel for what i mean. many pieces would not warrant a second glance on their own, but as a whole the outfit is greater than the sum of it's parts. this is true for many brands.

in regards to those specific shoes, i think they're pretty cool actually. made out of denim (a fabric which visvim does v well with), white leather inner, selvedge detailing, etc etc. they're not terribly ambitious but they've got their merits and their market.

enjoying clothing is much more than looking at pictures online - it's feeling the fabric, it's observing how your clothes generate wear & tear from daily living, it's establishing a relationship with what you wear that communicates to others who you are, and what you value. the "quiet" pieces of your wardrobe can elicit just as much enjoyment as the "interesting" pieces, for a myriad of reasons that are entirely specific to you. that's the beauty of it.

Is there a different buying process for Global rakuten vs. Japanese rakuten? I want to buy stuff of rakuten.co.jp and I'm not sure whether I'll need a proxy or not

How much paper do your jumpers have in them? If you're anything like me the answer is a tragic "not enough"!

Dries women's jumper - 84% wool, 10% paper, 5% rayon, 1% polyamide - made in belgium.
