Adidas Originals Rod Laver is the new CP Achilles. quetzalcoatl x Adidas Originals. Pharrell x Adidas comes in no neutral colors. Adidas releases a chukka version of ZX Flux. They reach critical mass. Lord knows what NSW does next.

Balenciaga x Nike comes back. And back. And back.

Rick Owens gets sick of black. Huge hype on the back of a runway show with beige/white colorblocked outerwear, goofy textures, and more beige.

Salmon and ocean blue. Salmon and ocean blue. Salmon and ocean blue.

Ocean print tee shirts. extremely ocean print tee shirts.

Loose fitting button-ups. Somehow.

I don't really keep up with the latest so I don't know if these are already trending but I guess they're things I'd like to get more exposure of personally.

high waist, light wash jeans
all white sneaks
clip on shades over specs
substantial wire frame specs
boxy patterns and silhouettes
sandals with suiting

Went back to page 1- lots of talk about slip ons. Have slip-ons not been super prolific where everyone else lives for at least the last 5-6 years? Just didn't think is a forecast as it seems like it never went away.

it's not that slipons haven't been popular, it's just that more "fashion-inclined" people had been wearing them.

epaulets have been universally taboo for how long now? Sensing that will change within the next couple years. Not saying they will be 'cool' or anything, just that they will finally lose their association with the classy gentleman fedora look.

100% cotton tees quietly lose their status as being the "standard" tee; cotton blends with polyester, viscose, linen, and/or hemp take over

Organza layers have been popular for a while.

Crop tops reaching insane levels of saturation.

Crop tops for men too? Or just women? Might be looking forward to ever growing acceptance for anime-level outfits...

Eh, so are metallic shoes, denim on denim and slip on vans. As far as being a saturated trend though? Not at all. I know it got popular for a while a few seasons back but I think it still hasn't become wide spread.

nostradamus style prediction for late 2016/2017:
rick owens 'filter down' continues and collides with tribal aesthetics and tech/sportswear trends.
overall style goal: shamans become interested in mesh fabrics and join their local 24 hour gym, take a spin class whilst wearing fur and go straight to work afterwards without changing.

I've only been 'following fashion' for a couple years so maybe I missed these things. Where are the following - I hope they come soon:

Pile/fleece - pile lined everything. fleece shirts. fleece pants. someone hook me up with some warm and fuzzy polyester. you can include shearling here, though I've seen it around.
also, we have baller sweatpants, baller cargos, where is the influx of baller convertible shorts? think about the convenience. you could go from suit suit to short suit in a minute!

People are talking about pooling pants, but I think we're going to see more of the opposite; pants with wide legs and very high cuffs.
