you both are right, i realized it is more of a current trend report than a trend forecast

here is another trend report : diy, handmade, craft, artisan made

online stores/irl pop ups offering an eclectic collection of things from relatively unknown artists and designers and people who are still studying. these have become really popular in the past couple years and then they started multiplying.

seeing the explosion of tie dye everywhere suddenly last spring/summer
and patchwork - kristin mallison style from last year. now urban outfitters stocks her lol
yard666sale for the more chaotic diy version, just anyone deciding to make their own clothes
- people picking it up as diy projects, making their own shirts experimenting with tie dye, bleaching, natural dying
