Crazy Woolrich jacket I got from a Northern MI thrift store for 4.50$. Pics are kinda garbo sorry.

Fit #1 (fit is crazy wonky, sleeves are short but the body is pretty long, not sure if intentional or long arms):

Jacket is 86% wool, 14% nylon and is pretty scratchy. It's bonkers warm though, so it's a little overkill for eastern TN. Could definitely wear it with light layering, but anything heavy would be insane, this thing is thick.

last year i picked up a cardigan of rakuten from undercover's fw98 collection "Small Pieces," which features zippers instead of seams and a hilarious care-tag that tells kids 18 and under to not play with it. it fit boxy and was kind of weird but i had fun with it.

Image

today, a silly ebay impulse purchase came in: a cpo shirt from the same collection. same boxy fit, same idiotic bulky zipper seams. like the cardigan, I liked the idea of wearing it deconstructed.

Image

worn under the cardigan, it's just a mess of loose panels and loose sleeves. chaos, it's wonderful. i laid them on top of each other and got to wondering...can they zip together?

they can. the reason they both look so weird is that they're made on the same pattern. same zipper lengths. same zipper positions.

DIY frankengarms.

Sacai is designed by Chitose Abe, one of the CdG flaxsisters.
Many Sacai garments appear as though they are multiple pieces styled together when they're actually a single dress. Despite their wildness, Sacai clothes are surprisingly very wearable! Unfortunately, Sacai is a little expensive ;-;

Weird-but-cool 90s frankensweater for $25 on eBay. Too bad I'm not a large - someone here had better buy this and report back.

I have that clip on carrying case dealie. It's from Cartridge Case 222.

I think Shin Murayama's work qualifies for this thread. Masks made out of shoes, socks, and assorted shit.
