cohalu333 - love her, she started this whole thing for me. Scroll through her page: I have no idea how one person can wear that much cool stuff.

It depends how you style it and the cut/color of the pants. I think Comoli does a good job making their relaxed cuts look purposeful and not incindental - that is to say, that you're wearing loose pants because you want to and not because you just don't know how to find pants that 'fit'

It helps if the pants are a neutral color and have a slight taper but that's not necessary of course. Essay does great loose cuts, including some corduroy pants

EDIT: just saw these our legacy cords on final sale +15% off at neighbour: http://www.shopneighbour.com/products/o ... khaki-cord

full size run
otherwise it's worth trying to thrift a pair of Polo RL cords. They're usually pleated and tapered a little bit. The cut is great and the cords are usually thicc so it's worth it if you can find for cheap

IME If there's a more defined "shape" to the pants it'll pass easier as an intentional move, a lot of these trousers here are cropped to just the right length so excessive stacking/pooling doesn't weigh down the leg. For something with a lot of pooling I'd prefer a taper near the hem as transparenti said.

whenever I start feeling a little selfish, I remember that there's no such thing as "fair" and that the universe doesn't care if any of us live or die

Stumbled across this on Instagram. Authorial voice manages to come across as primarily enthusiastic rather than patronizing or ironic, and there's plenty of visual and sartorial variety.
