I shipped my car from Pennsylvania to Arizona a few months back, and honestly, it went much smoother than I expected. I’d never done it before, so I was worried about delays or damage, but the driver showed up close to the scheduled day and delivered it within the week. The car looked a little dusty from the road, but otherwise perfect.
I’d recommend cleaning the car beforehand and snapping plenty of photos from every angle before pickup. Also, keep your phone handy—drivers usually call ahead, and being flexible with meeting spots can save time.
I used A1 Auto Transport for my shipment, and their updates on timing and delivery routes were really helpful. They made it easy to track progress and know what to expect along the way.

Re: cars transporting
Haha I didn’t go that far, but I did need to leave some personal stuff in the trunk. I was mostly shipping just the car, though, since I’d heard it can get tricky with too many belongings inside, especially if you’re crossing state lines. The driver gave me a heads-up that extra items might not be covered by insurance, so I kept it simple. I figured that out after browsing https://www.a1autotransport.com/ for details. There's a lot I didn’t know about what’s allowed inside during the shipping process, so looking at their guides helped clarify.
