Here is a list of some of the games I played and enjoyed during the pandemic:

I am currently trying to finish Bloodborne, but the Orphan of Kos is difficult and the fact that the healing mechanism is consumable (which they fixed with Sekiro) makes repeated attempts at the bosses way more punishing that it needs to be IMO.

i checked on the snes games on switch online on a whim and i've gotten real hooked on mario's super picross. so many levels. been doing one before bed every night. nice chill gaming

I Think Sekiro will have ruined me for other souls games. I don't want to go back to thinking about "build" and trying to understand obscure stats. I just want sword fights.

I got really into teamfight tactics during the pandemic, mainly cos it was easy to play while working from home.

Shadowlands consumed a lot of my time recently, it was good fun playing with a group of 6 of us, but getting a bit worn out on the grind now. Arena was really fun at the start and I climbed high, but now i'm getting dunked on by people with 40k health and i just can't be beefed

HADES was absolutely mega. Mega game. Loved supergint since Bastion, they are the king of making games that get just as much playtime on spotify as they do gametime

i don't play it but i have been watching a streamer play tetris 99 lately and i believe my reactions would be described as "pogging out of my mind" during the last 10 sections

was playing hades for a bit, but it's been absolutely dethroned by skul: the hero slayer
guess that's more my cup of tea right now. am also playing nioh 2, on and off. might get back to it tonight.

contemplating buying deep rock galactic, or terraria, or starbound. something mining-related with co-op play.
deep rock galactic is pretty fun, tried it over the steam free weekend.
does anyone play risk of rain 2? been thinking about buying that too

Play valheim, the only game that matters.

I just bought deep rock galactic and put 20 minutes into it, it seems like the kind of thing that you would prefer friends on voice to play with you rather than soloing or dropping into a pub group, but that just means that now I need friends.

got addicted to dota for around 5 months of the pandemic and played like 10 hours a day

recently did a factorio play through and finally launched a rocket which was fun

now i just play chess online (mostly puzzles)

Chess rules and I would be down to throw down with anyone anytime. Def not that good and kind of going through a gnarly slump in terms of results atm, but I still love it. Some call it "the game of kings."
