In NYC there's a karaoke place that's $1 and uses youtube videos, so my karaoke song is just grace cathedral park by red house painters.

I am hoping if I move to Denmark they will have an equivalent of this so that one can do danish indie songs that no karaoke service would cover.

update: Summer 2023 I finally sang Butterfly at my friend's engagement party at a vaguely nautical themed, partially outdoor sports bar. Went pretty well!! My new karaoke song: Never Too Much by Luther Vandross
