JPY shopping pet peeves:

1. "no photos"

2. SAs following 10 steps behind you the entire time you're in the store

3. Department stores that list floors as "men's/ladies fashion" but after you ride 6 escalators you find out that of the 10 stores/sections there's like 1 with menswear and its just a couple racks of basics.

4. The way they'll put the price tag on the front zip of a jacket, zip it up, and flip the tags inside so when you zip it down a bit to look at the inside or whatever and then try zipping it back up again the string from the tag gets lodged in the zip and you can't even zip it down to get it out.

5. Trying to discern fabric blends but all the caretags are in Japanese, especially for things like toques where something will look totally nondescript but cost 15k yen or whatever.
