it's honestly intentional - trying to fuel [redacted] 6 days a week is tough!

comfortable chairs are as we say a "fake concept"
i hate chairs so i sit on the ground and lean again the wall:
the top shelf doubles as a """standing desk"""
Spoiler:
thank you @wrong for the felt vinyl cover (???) -- have had it on my desk as a giant coaster of sorts for the past year (love)

I don't think any other thread is really competing with this one, in terms of making me want to move out of Brooklyn

please say more about your chair
I do feel like with chairs, comfort and design are a dichotomy. It either looks good or it feels good to sit in. And that's without even thinking about the ergonomic aspect of health. My chair is from Sklum, which seems to be a spanish brand that's borrowing heavily from ~~scandi*avian mini*alism~~ and some aspects of, like, 60s space age interior. It looks good, it's probably alright for my back, but my old Ikea gamer chair was way more 'comfy' even though its sight was abject. I made a conscious decision to replace it with something a little more stylish.
@titkitten I gotta say I hope you do a lot of yoga or something, because from my non-professional perspective sitting on the ground and leaning against a wall seems, idk challenging for your back muscles and spine!

here are some different ways i sit at my desk, for those who are wondering
idk why but i really hate chairs -- it's so uncomfortable to have my legs lower than my core. my pt says that i don't have the upper back strength to support my spine or my head and i don't have enough core strength to control my limbs lol. maybe im a giant baby. i like the wall because it supports my spine, keeping it straight, while i can spread out on the floor. (i do a lot of yoga! it's been building my strength slowly but i am starting with so little that i'm still pretty weak!)

i don't have two monitors but i have one monitor to have Big Screen, to keep from craning. i really think laptops are so ergonomically violent to our necks/shoulders/upper backs.

slowly making my space nicer since i spend so much time at it.
empty space on the right of the desk was where i was trying to make a 3rd monitor (vertical) work but it didn't want to play nice with my work computer and my home pc at the same time
