not new year's topical but these guys are cool

saw them open for youth lagoon a couple months back. it was at some church in koreatown. they hung bedsheets from the ceiling that looked like these long ghostly shadows. after the show, my friend spoke to the band for a bit and got them to sign his shirt, which was neat.

also, if you want to meet a band after a show, go to the nearest fast food place after. found this out by random chance. there's a good chance they'll go like an hour after they're done playing (gotta pack up all the gear first probably)

right now im digging this stuff someone linked me to. indie rock bullshit of course but this is really good. the band is massive like 10+ people and the song is calculated roughness. i love it, probably going to buy it.
