abracadabra is the source of a huge argument between me and a friend.

it's also my favorite kpop song and the source of my username on some forums.

Spent this evening moshing like a madman to Ufomammut and a bunch of other great bands to celebrate 16 years of Orange Factory.

Ufomammut are possibly one of my favourite metal bands around (trippy psychedelia and nasty sludge) and this is my third time seeing them. My muscles are going to wreck me tomorrow.

germinal did you go see Fuck Buttons and Haxan Cloak yet?

Wow! That sounds amazing, glad you have such a good time. Can't wait to see them next week.

That's hell of a good schedule. What sort of venues in London do you see these bands?
Are GY!BE still touring?

Hoping to get tickets to see The Cat Empire at the end of the month they're so much fun live.

Fuck Buttons had a really cool light display too. it's hard to explain but as well as the usual lasers and lights, behind them both was a projector screen, and in front of them was a motion sensor. The sensor detected where they were and the projection changed to display their silhouettes, real time. But say the background was a video of a beach, the silhouettes were the same video, colours inverted, played backwards, or if the background was a slow-motion close-up of an eagle in flight, the silhouette was a pile of snakes writhing. very cool stuff, complete sensory overload

i dunno, mostly mediumish size venues, i'm not all that on the ball when it comes to finding new music, so i don't go to underground gigs, but i'm not one to go stadium concerts either. it looks like godspeed are touring the US atm, and then coming over for a show in london and the last ATP

That light show sounds rad

Do they still use the little plastic toy microphone box amped up to distortion electronics for vocals?

Woke up this morning to this playing in my head. I think it's kind of fitting for this forum?
