Hey everybody. So recently my lover and I have been experimenting with multiple orgasms (for him, he's such a darling never been an issue for me). We've managed it once but he said that it didn't feel as good as just letting it all build up to one. Anybody have any advice as to how to make a guy's multiple orgasms as good as just one? Thanks! "True male authority means possessing a calm, loving penis that is used as an energetic “sending” instrument, not as a desensitized “getting” device."

If he's comfortable with anal, try giving him a prostate massage.

I never really did anything when I was younger and I guess now that I'm older and sort of just beginning to explore all of this stuff, it's fresh and exciting and invigorating and it makes me anxious for weekends when I know I'm meeting up with a girl and wondering if I will get her in bed, how she'll respond, what she'll feel like, and all of that. I guess the good thing about tinder is that it takes a lot of the awkwardness out of social interactions where I have no practice, but maybe the better thing is that it gives me the confidence to just treat real life hitting on people with less concern. I don't think I ever really hit on a girl at a bar or a show but I was out with some friends and me and a buddy saw three girls at the end of the bar and decided to go talk to them. It seems stupid to say it but I guess it's really just as easy as saying 'Hi!' We talked with them for a while and I got shot down when I tried to get a girl's number at the end of my night, but I still had a blast and really enjoyed myself. It's something I could see myself doing more often and just having fun with. I'm really, really happy that this wasn't something that passed me by because I missed it at 21.

On that note, one tinder girl came back to my place and we didn't have sex but still hooked up. Because this is novel to me, I've really only started this whole sexually active thing since school started last semester. The girls I've been with have been fairly vocal and that was cool, but this girl was very quiet and it was really different to whisper something instead of speak it and have everything be hushed. There was a lot more body contact and pulling each other close than with other people and I really enjoyed that. It never felt all that intimate as much as it was just somewhat serious moments interspersed into an hour or so of playfulness, but it was very electric and novel and I think I preferred that to the other girls so far.

A girl I've been talking to asked if I was down to try anal next time we see each other (next weekend most likely). I am pretty excited but also kinda nervous. I mostly just want to know any advice or stuff I should know heading into this

go slow lots of lube if it doesn't work out the first time then no worries. there might be a little discomfort at first but if it hurts you're doing it wrong

Yeah I would say it's tempting to be really carnal about it (it always seems like a good idea but if rushed at all for me its really painful) but I would say the sexiest way to do it would be to like give her a massage or something and get her really relaxed and just play around with lots of lube and see what feels good to her, and make sure you end on a high note. If that means you don't go all the way because it's getting uncomfortable for either of you I think that's best. There's always another day but with stuff like that a bad experience can ruin what could be wonderful for a long time. I would also check up with her a lot, I know for me as a lady and a lot of my friends we have a hard time communicating displeasure because we don't want to ruin it for our partner. And partners who make an effort to make it the best experience for both people are so hot! (tmi in this post? lol) Have fun and help us drown out ass-play stigma with wonderful orgasms! (smiling)

i unfortunately have no business being in this thread right now

@feministfatal: regarding prostate massage, there are special prostate toys. i've never personally used one, but they exist. my #1 advice is use lube, use more lube, and then USE SOME MORE. i've had good luck with coconut oil instead of the usual water or silicone based stuff, tends to be more comfortable and less messy. take it very slow and communicate. prostate induced orgasms are apparently next level male orgasms so i highly recommend trying it out.

edit: if you're using condoms, don't use oil based lube. otherwise coconut oil has been great in my experience.
edit2: ok, i figured i'd include some more info about prostate massage. it's nice foreplay but there are some men that get intense crazy vaginalblowjob++ orgasms from it. i recommend using one finger to start with. you will be able to feel the prostate when you touch it. use lube.

A girl I might sort of be seeing (will hang out for the third time next week) has never had an orgasm and it's sort of a damper but I feel bad because if it's a damper then she feels bad.

She also lives in one of those college rooms where there's another bed in the room where her roommate sleeps and that has to be super weird. How do you tell your roommate 'find somewhere else to be for a while' or whatever?

On the plus side to that, hearing my girlfriend whisper "I want to come for you so badly" is a huge turn-on. Usually with the beds it's just a quick text along the lines of "Can I have the room for an hour or so?" or "Text me when you're headed home"

Girl is still fun. I'm away from school and her for three weeks so it'll be good when I go back. She still hasn't cum but it's less of a hang up than I thought it would be. She's enthusiastic which pretty much makes up a lot of ground for everything else.

Fooling around on a cellar couch while her parents make dinner upstairs is such a quintessentially teenage experience. Got some really great head, fingered her to climax, and then had lobster rolls and seared scallops with the family. Good night.

feminist just alerted me that i got an offer took hook up with one of her (kinda mine too) friends. Idk if i should, i mean he's hot and he's into me. It would be my first time having sex with a guy that was actually planned out (and hopefully enjoyable). But he also just broke things off with his boyfriend and i don't want to get caught between that, especially since his boyfriend always made a point to brag about talking to or snap chatting (which was once, also it took me weeks to realize who it was that was snap chatting me :P) me since he knew that he had a crush on me.

Edit: After stalking his facebook profile some more i think i've decided that i'm going to do it. Any tips?

Are we allowed to complain about not having sex in this thread?

I had semi-awkward very average meh sex with a friend two weeks ago. I extended a fwb offer, he rejected it, etc. No big deal, but all I can think about is how convenient it would be if he had said yes and we could just have average whatever sex once every other week or something...aaannddd I can't believe I just said that. My personal life is nonexistent.

Let's talk about sex bay-bee

Let's talk about you and me

I wanna have some discussion, so:

I've been having sexual thoughts since 8 or 9. When was your sexual awakening?

Let's talk about

MASTURBATION

Porn is difficult for me because I can't stand falsehood in my sexy times and there's a lot of that in porn

Unfortunately small number of male performers that can give a decent performance

I'm a big fan of hentai comics (doujinshi? I'm never sure what to call them) for that reason among others, imagination gets to play

Although art style is definitely a big part of enjoyment or lack thereof

Read some hentai comics with my girlfriend which was a very strange experience

I'm usually much more open about this stuff but in this case I'd heavily stigmatized the material from past experiences and she hadn't so she was much more chill about it

She's into mostly futanari which I never would've expected but it makes sense, she hates longer stories though which is unfortunate as there's some great stuff out there

Yamatogawa was a shared favorite though, can recommend most of his work as longer stories

my online fascination of the day is fashion blog articles about the french. here's an interview with french gq columnist maïa mazaurette on sex and whatnot.

maureen o'conner: "So you always have sex on the first date, then?"

maïa mazaurette: "Absolutely! But it’s not even an issue because there is no date. There is just first sex. You think someone is attractive, you give it a try. I think it really makes sense. (Of course I say that, because I’m French, right?)"

maureen o'conner: "It’s interesting to me that France is a predominantly Catholic nation, and yet the culture is so sexually free."

maïa mazaurette: "Yes, but we don’t connect sex with ethics or morality or values in general, you know?"

maureen o'conner: "How open are people about their extramarital setups? In the U.S., you’ll hear people refer to "open relationships," but it can feel a bit all-or-nothing. People do have unspoken arrangements, but lying is often considered worse than the cheating."

maïa mazaurette: "For us, I think it’s just pragmatic. We don’t necessarily talk about it, but after a certain amount of time that you spend with someone, of course the passion is not going to last. And so there will simply be two sides of your life. There is a culture of secrets — perhaps that’s related to Catholicism, actually — and it’s part of normal life…I think in France we share a lot of things, but in the end, well, you die alone. It’s not a betrayal because sex doesn’t have consequences. Why worry about a crime without a victim?

I’m fine with monogamy, as long as there are some holes. I think it’s wonderful to spend a long time with someone and know he is always going to be there for you and push your wheelchair when you’re old, but you have only one life, and sometimes sex is important. When I’ve been unfaithful in the past, it’s because it was beautiful, it could be just a one-night thing — but if I didn’t do it, I would have had regrets. I would feel less sexy, and my commitment starts to become a prison and not a positive choice in my life."

the first two quotes i chose mostly because they were worded in an adorable/silly way, but the last one is actually rather thought-provoking.

Oh oh! Meta sex.

Funny that you mention sex culture in France, I read anarticle about this Frenchwoman who was celibate for 12 years. Contextualizing this made it much easier to understand. I guess this idea of sex on the first date is foreign to us north american scum.

Also, have you guys read this DFW article? It's about how sex requires some sort of impediment to keep things alluring. It's clear DFW is fighting for some sort of slowed down monogamy, which is interesting in this day and age. I loved this quote though.

"The human will to fuck"? Any animal can fuck. But only humans can experience sexual passion, something wholly different from the biological urge to mate. And sexual passion’s endured for millennia as a vital psychic force in human life— not despite impediments but because of them. Plain old coitus becomes erotically charged and spiritually potent at just those moments where impediments, conflicts, taboos and consequences lend it a double-edged character— meaningful sex is both an overcoming and a succumbing, a transcendence and a transgression, triumphant and terrible and ecstatic and sad. Turtles and gnats can mate, but only the human will can defy, transgress, overcome, love: Choose.

Damn, that's a crazy article. Did some googling and found it was written in '96, reprinted with current title in '98 in the very care-tags sounding "Shiny Adidas Tracksuits and the Death of Camp and Other Essays from Might Magazine".

It's interesting that he argues that casual sex can lead to spiritual decline, not just of an individual but of an entire generation in the case of the '60s to '70's. The contextualization of AIDS as something that will force people to be more careful and therefore more intimate in their sexual activities makes me wonder, if we ever cure the myriad of STDs out there, will we experience another sexual boom as in the '60s?

Is his argument still relevant in modern times? The AIDS scare is for the most part past and sexual protection seems to be the norm across at least American culture. Are there any other great specters that make all sex a risk?

On a separate note, it disgusts me when I see people fetishize races. One of the more subversive forms of racism is reducing a race to a few sexual features. I've heard people talk about it as if they're checking off a list. Can anybody who's been on the receiving end of this comment?

Sorry, last question (got a lot of these), has the wide availability of pornography via the internet caused a shift in perspective on sex and people's role in it?
