Why don't you two just buy houses instead of renting with house mates? Will really help you out

Why not go live with germoskns. I heard they have a nice house share with vegan house meals, selfie nook with tripod and available light and someone always home to sign for ebatgs

my school had a blood drive today, and i was feeling good about it.
I went in and they jammed the big needle into my arm and started pumping.
like halfway through she stopped and told me my blood was clotting, so she had to readjust the needle, (aka wiggle it around while its still in my vein)
after like a painful 2 minutes she gave up and told me it wasn't going to work and pulled it out.
thought that counts right?

is this the random jorts thread? i must have missed the "let's change all the thread titles AGAIN" notification

a few years ago my friend told me that his french press shattered one time, and based off of that tidbit of information i decided against ever buying a french press

flash forward to now, i buy a 4 dollar french press at the grocery store (based xijinping) and WOW how did i go all these years without realizing that making coffee could be this easy! coffee that doesnt cost 6 dollars at the starbucks being reintroduced to my life ==> living in china is now possible

I've chalked it up to a loss but it's pretty stupid.

they finally fixed this for me and the item came, yahoo!!! (pun intended) it's awesome

trying to license a record for reissue, and it seems like everyone who's ever had any involvement with the music in compiling it just bootlegged it. anyone here live in Xanadu who could do some people hunting for me?

Drink Qingdao it's 3.4% and dirt cheap. I think Sunstory also makes some decent 4% or so. When I lived in Shanghai I'd always go for the 22oz of Qingdao for most meals.

i don't like renoir but the amount of people tryna protest against his paintings that are in institutions just for reasons like "it's taking the nation by storm!" and "he's just a shitty painter!" and wouldn't add anything else to comment are craaaaaaaaaaaaazy and don't know how most museums work in terms of how they acquire most paintings and objects before the modern era

I sold some iTunes giftcards I had sitting around on eBay. Buyer won the auction and asked if I could message him with the code instead of shipping it out. I said sure, he sent the payment, I sent the code, and he left positive feedback. Now, a week later, he's filed a chargeback with the credit card company for the total price, which means PayPal is now holding me accountable for everything including the percentage that eBay and PayPal take. I disputed the chargeback and sent screenshots of the messages and feedback, so hopefully it works out, but PayPal's FAQ basically says it's unlikely I'll get my money back for intangible goods.

just found out that chinese walmarts carry walmart branded beer, it's 25 cents per can and 4% alc. need to drink so much of it these days just to keep myself warm as China doesn't turn on centralized heating until november 15TH and it's already 40 degrees at night here.. BRRRR

finally my diarrhea has gone away... to be replaced by what i'm fairly certain is bronchitis. turns out that the city i'm staying in is literally the most polluted city in all of china. and i got taken to a chinese traditional medicine doctor who assigned me this weird green kava-like liquid full of chunks of some weird tree that i have to drink 30 minutes before every meal, luke warm. and i was forced to pay for it out of pocket because guess what, my insurance doesn't cover traditional chinese medicine

also

Spoiler:
gender relations are incredibly confusing here, at least to me. women come up to me all the time just to tell me that i'm beautiful (apparently since i'm tall and slim and pale and have dark hair i'm good looking? my usual response to this is telling them that i'm considered ugly back in the US), and are always trying to get me to add them on wechat and come back to their hometowns to climb mountains with them. all very scary. yesterday i was serving food at an international food court to represent the US and had a crowd of over 100 people surrounding me just to take photos of me. they would literally walk inside my stall, cling onto my body, and take selfies with me, as i'm attempting to prepare hotdogs. ridiculous! i see a few other white men around who grossly fulfill the "weird white-man goes to asia and has a fetish" stereotype, so i've been trying as hard as possible to avoid looking anything like that. but as a result i've only made male friends here because i'm terrified of giving any women the wrong idea. and i'm still not sure of what anyone thinks of queer people, because if i ask my male friends they might be freaked out, but i can't even talk to women here one-on-one without causing an uproar, so, quite a dilemma. i have a female chinese tutor, but whenever we go in public everyone stares at us (most likely assuming we're an interracial couple, i'm assuming?) i'm hoping that when i move to beijing things will be different.

edit: @wusswayne see my latest waywt, outlandish outfits every day because why not
