Feel like that's an ian mackaye quote. Anyway, i think the answer is no, but tattoos have flattened enough that having or not having one isn't indicative of something either way.

I am unable to keep up with Discord. In theory, I enjoy the UI and the way communication works on there. Still it just feels daunting to keep up with? I can't just check in for twenty minutes a day and get the gist of what's happening in my social circles, which are partly made up of irl friends and partly internet people with similar interests. It feels like I have to devote a big chunk of my daily screen time in order to really interact with anyone. There's no hopping into conversations. I think I prefer the slower pace of 1 on 1 chats.
I need a wiki or something that explains insider jokes and channel names before I can even think about participating in Discords without getting a headache

It's very rude to post cap C content on discord when you could post it here instead and revive this moribund forum.

Posting on discord instead of care tags dot org is basically cosigning neoliberalism.

Ryan can we make it so that we just read in the discord chat like it's a thread? Could work I'm sure discord federates.

it's very easy to keep up with the care tags discord because nobody posts in it

get there, as nice as i hoped
until i sat down and the mosquitoes sucked me dry
i got eaten while i was eating

i installed discord on my phone once. was using it for some dumb groups which was cool
a bit later i met up with old high school friends i lost touch with for an old-school "lan party" in town. I like these guys but there's a lot of reasons we haven't really kept in touch (no ill will, just different lives).
they threw me an invite to their discord. I accidentally kept notifications on. One day while I was getting groceries, the phone screen was responding to the notifications. Apparently the context-sensitive replies that were on the notifications were being pressed by something in my pocket.
I got home and had a bunch of people justifiably giving me grief for responding bizarrely to a conversation i wasn't even remotely involved in
i no longer have discord on my phone
