No, I want to write for the New Yorker or NPR... but at this point I'll take anything as long as it isn't reporting on tweets for Buzzfeed.

stoli and smirnoff aren't cheap.

the cheap stuff comes in plastic bottles and has regionally dependent names. in chicago we drank dmitri. in college it was popov.

Think BC might just have terrible liquor laws, even in other parts of Canada beer and stuff is way cheaper.

To be on topic for a sec, I'm ramseames, I'm an engineering student/ construction worker. Some of you might have known me as /u/stigrollson. I really like this place because it feels very authentic, not in a worn in raws>predistressed denim way but in the sense that we have a collection of reasonably knowledgeable people who aren't more focused on making themselves look cool than actually sharing their experience.

hello all! I really like this forum. It's a good change of pace after mostly lurking reddit malefashionadvice for ~2 years. I am a young kid living in the Greater Boston Area and working part-time at a chicken joint to pay for piano lessons. I also like to buy dirt cheap clothes at the thrift shop and recut/modify them. 95% of my closet is from said thrift shop. If I get good, I will post in one of the care threads. I decided recently to never wear a pair of blue jeans again

Herro. I'm JCM. I'm 21. Dropped out of college when I was 19 and have been travelling around. Looking to go back somewhere with a better academic environment. I enjoy writing and pretend to be a good cook.

I may post a fit or something; never really done so anywhere else but through voyeurism I feel more comfortable in this community. Still kind of finding my way in more than one sense and I'm having fun doing so.

Thanks!

I'm going to teach social science/politics and swedish (or history, haven't decided yet) to older kids, ages 16-19. I guess it's called secondary school? Or upper secondary school? Not really sure.

Of all the things that aren't a thing that people on MFA are trying to make into a thing, that one isn't a thing the most. Really hate it with a passion.
