My favorite is my old Sierra West mountaineering jacket. One of the first coats to use Gore-Tex. Best part is the hidden interior passport pocket.

Travels well.

All sorts of pockets + a cool strap on the back. Matching pants somewhere on Yoox, too.

With this jacket you can lie face down on your seat and they won't wake you up to check your belt during turbulence

Just picked up this EG Andover (thanks @ramdomthought!). Haven't yet traveled w/ it, but I think it'll be great. A total of 7 pockets (four exterior pockets and three interior). A mid-to-lightweight 93% wool, 7% cashmere, so it'll be good for airports that are heavy handed w/ air conditioning. Fully lined w/ polyester, so putting it on and taking it off at security is a breeze.

Spoiler:
Image

Also grabbed this. Not as stealthy, but it does have four exterior patch pockets and two interior pockets...

Margiela.

Leather pocket-harness-thing is detachable for convenience, all of your giant pockets are located on the front for mad security and you look fully equipped to handle any situation. Could fit any number of different doctored passports in this thing.

Comes in black too for that cyber-warrior feel.

I think beige/tan/sand is the primo airport jacket colour, the slightly awkward colonial echoes being key to the look

the best airport jackets have lots of pockets, are generally unstructured, and can be folded/tossed around and still look good. m65 type jackets and unstructured blazers like EG bedfords rule the roost, imo.

I believe EC makes cool outdoorsy-minded kinda tings. I've seen them floating around Rak a lot

x-post of my Dr Franken Jacket

Spoiler:
Image

jacket explanation and semi-detail pics
Spoiler:
Dr. Franken makes clothes inspired by clothes worn by scientists and intellects - their website cites
Thomas Alva Edison 、Albert Einstein 、Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel 、Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs 、Andy Warhol

This jacket is a light nylon/cotton and the collar can be folded down to create lapels.
Image
the lower pockets have internal zips which grant access to the super deep internal pockets. It's meant to be for travelers who want to keep their passport/valuables at hand but also safe. the internal pockets also have another huge zippered pocket on the side. All told there are seven pockets on the jacket.

Also: this excellent Analog Lightning 'TailoredxHunting' Jacket

Details everywhere.
Spoiler:

Image

Featuring zips on the collar, a ton of deep pockets, and an attachable bag (?)

Having handled it I can assure you it's simultaneously bulletproof and cozy af. Pricey tho.
Best part is that the entire mess on the front can be unzipped and worn as a vest while the jacket turns into a sleek tailored version (also with deep pockets)
Image
Spoiler:
Image

Including the bag I think there's over 10 pockets on just this one guy.

That's the trouble with massive pocket increases over your day-to-day clothing. If you keep your phone in your left pants pocket usually but decide to move it to a jacket pocket for a flight, you're gonna have a bad time.
